The website
This website does not use client-side analytics, advertising pixels, marketing cookies, forms, or account sign-in. The hosting provider may process technical access and security logs as part of operating the service; those logs are controlled by the hosting provider.
App data on your device
Muslim Quran keeps the daily assignment, Favorites, reading preferences, reminder intent, Widget projection state, and share preferences in local app storage. Favorites and reminder schedules are not synchronized through CloudKit.
The app has no registration, user profile, or app account. It does not upload your Favorites, Quran selection, reminder time, or share-card choices to our own server.
Quran content and notifications
Reviewed Quran packs, the full Surah corpus, and related reading material are bundled with the app. Daily Quran content is not fetched from our server, Firebase, or a third-party Quran API.
A reminder is scheduled locally only after you choose a time and save it. Its notification is generic and does not include Quran text. The app does not use a remote push-notification server for the daily reminder.
Analytics
The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase with collection enabled by default for basic usage measurement. Firebase creates an app-instance identifier for the installation. Measurement is limited to automatic app and session activity, fixed manual page visibility, a coarse membership aggregate, and the coarse Widget state installed or not installed. Automatic screen reporting is disabled.
Analytics records no pager movement, in-page action, Reader stage, Favorite, reminder, share, Gate, allowance, ad, reward, purchase, restore, offer, product, transaction, content identity, free text, or raw URL. It does not send Quran text, references, translation choices, reminder times, a custom user ID, IDFA, or IDFV. The privacy manifest classifies Device ID and Product Interaction as used for Analytics, not linked to identity and not used for tracking. For the Firebase Analytics property, Google Ads/AdMob linkage and activation, audiences, remarketing, personalization, and BigQuery export are disabled. Retention is fixed at 14 months without reset on new activity.
Advertising and consent
Advertising is managed through HuabaiKit. The bundled configuration selects Google AdMob for the default, CN, and CHN routes. Advertising and Analytics are separate purposes. The app does not request App Tracking Transparency permission or use IDFA. Ad personalization and consent handling follow your choices in Google’s User Messaging Platform and the advertising provider’s policies.
Advertising providers may process information under their own terms, such as IP-derived general location, app- or device-bounded identifiers, ad interactions, performance information, and SDK diagnostics. Availability and the provider used may vary by region.
Apple services, photos, and purchases
Widgets use Apple WidgetKit. Reminders use Apple’s local notification service. If you choose Save in Share Preview, the app requests add-only Photo Library access; sharing without saving does not request that permission.
HuabaiKit uses CloudKit to establish a canonical commercial identity and persist a monotonic commercial-usage high-water before evaluating free allowance. This is separate from Favorites, reading preferences, and reminder schedules, which remain local, and feature code does not receive that identity or its usage values. Apple StoreKit processes and restores subscriptions and the lifetime purchase; we do not receive payment-card details. Crash and diagnostic information is available to us only when Apple makes it available through its developer services.
Support messages
If you email support, we receive the address you use and any name, message, or attachment you choose to provide. We use it only to reply, troubleshoot, and meet legal obligations. Support messages are not combined with Analytics or advertising data and are kept only as long as needed for those purposes and applicable legal requirements.
Your choices and deletion
You can manage notification and Photo Library permission in Apple system settings and advertising privacy choices from the app when available. Deleting the app removes its local reading data but does not reset the CloudKit-backed commercial usage high-water or mint a fresh free allowance. It also does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription or delete information retained independently by Apple or another provider under its own terms.
